The splash-in, set for Oct. 16, will include contests for pilots, including a pumpkin bomb drop. The city is also holding its Rocktoberfest the same day, which will feature live music, children’s activities, and more.

Airplanes & Coffee is held the first Saturday of every month at a different airport in Texas. Besides fun and fellowship, the monthly fly-ins raise money for scholarships for students going into aviation.
Registration opens to watch Ozark Backwoods Challenge
The STOL competition is set for Sept. 29-Oct. 3, 2021, with 50 aircraft competing. Advance registration for spectators is “highly encouraged” by organizers.
Antique airplanes take flight to save airports
It’s more than just a flying adventure when members of the Puget Sound Antique Airplane Club take off on their annual summer air tour. “Our purpose is to save airports,” says member Keith Littlefield. They do that by inviting the public to general aviation airports to see the vintage aircraft up close and personal.
The Biggest Little Air Show returns
2021 marked the eighth annual Biggest Little Air Show put on by the museum at San Carlos Airport (KSQL) and the event quickly sold out. Attendees and staff alike enjoyed the perfect weather and the flight performances without having to worry about masks and social distancing while outside.
