Danny Marcy submitted this photo and note: “Just returned from Stratford, Texas, pulling my Avid Flyer on its own trailer. I started this build in 1992 and finished it in 1997. In 2010 I retired and sold the Avid and our house in Illinois. We moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, and I had no place for the Avid at the lake. Then the flying bug bit again. I joined EAA Chapter 1254 at the Lake and decided to call the man who bought the Avid. We struck a deal. The wife and I drove to Texas to bring my Avid Flyer back home.”
