Hello! I just came across this post. Don’t know if I can be of much help. My mom, Dorothy Crothers, is on the wing of the plane – 2nd from the left. On my mom’s left side is Vi Wolff. As I was growing up, my mom spoke A LOT about her time flying and all of her friends. Sadly, my mom passed away in 2004. Fortunately, my mom kept some memories of her flying times. I’m currently in the process of moving from Seattle to Arizona and I’m trying to consolidate years of accumulation from both myself and my parents homes. I have come across some articles about the Associated Women Pilots. I would be more than happy to share with you anything I can, if you would like. Please feel free to email me back when you get a chance. Thanks!!
I’m interested in information on Helen Frances Brattus, a member of the Associated Women Pilots of Boeing Field in 1938. She was honored at their annual dinner very shortly before she was killed in a plane crash with her husband. She is my first cousin, 2x removed. Any information would be greatly appreciated! -Erin Egloff, [email protected]
