Ohio association offers $5,000 scholarship
The Ohio Regional Business Aviation Association (ORBAA) is awarding up to a $5,000 scholarship to students working towards a career in Business Aviation. Applications are due by March 31, 2024.
South Florida Business Aviation Association raises more than $50,000 for scholarships and charity
The funds, raised through the association’s annual Charity Golf Classic in Palm Beach Garden, go towards multiple student scholarships, as well as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Angel Flight Southeast.
Applications open for Cascade Warbirds scholarships
Applications will be accepted until Feb. 29, 2024, for scholarships from Cascade Warbirds, for private pilot ground school with introductory flights for young people between the ages of 16 and 21.

The Reno Air Racing Association will award 12 scholarships, each valued at up to $10,000, to aspiring pilots between the ages of 16 and 20.
Student pilot wins Sporty’s scholarship
Christopher Barnes is now ready to make his dreams of becoming a pilot a reality by training toward a private pilot certificate at Reigle Field (58N) in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. Once he earns his fixed-wing certification, Christopher plans on pursuing his glider certificate at a local soaring club.
Tailwheel scholarship offered for fourth year
The scholarship will award $1,000 in cash and $1,000 in credit towards flight training towards a tailwheel endorsement to one female pilot. Training will take place at Quad Cities International Airport (KMLI) in Moline, Illinois, in a 1946 Piper J-3 Cub.
Applications now open for more than $1 million in EAA scholarships
Flight training and post-secondary scholarships are available to everyone over the age of 16, according to EAA officials.
