Fred notes: “Decades in the making! Last landing of Philippine Mars, the huge Martin JRM flying boat headed for the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The Mars landed on Lake Pleasant, north of Phoenix, on Feb. 10, 2025. It was escorted by a number of aircraft, including the PB4Y-2 Privateer from Casa Grande, Arizona. The Mars will be disassembled as needed for highway transport to the Pima museum.”
Public invited to unveiling of WASP memorial plaque

Preserving the past, one image at a time
“This treasure trove of over 30,000 meticulously organized aviation photographs is set to be delivered to a professional digitization company soon, marking a significant step in ensuring these historic images are preserved and made accessible for generations to come,” officials noted in early December 2024.
Fundraising campaign launches for WACO Air Museum
The Wings and Dreams Campaign has been recently initiated to support the remaining construction for a new education building located next to the WACO Air Museum and WACO Airfield in Troy, Ohio.
