Avidyne has released the new Vantage 12.1 software update for Cirrus aircraft, bringing expanded support for legacy GPS navigators and approach minimums. Alongside the update, Avidyne introduced the DFC110 autopilot featuring vertical navigation, offering Entegra-equipped Cirrus owners flexibility for their panel upgrades.

The FAA has certified the Garmin GFC 600 digital autopilot for the Air Tractor AT-802 series. The autopilot offers enhanced flight control, safety-enhancing features, and improved efficiency, making demanding long-distance missions and aerial firefighting operations easier for pilots.

Dynon’s autopilot — already available for Mooney M20J/K models equipped with SkyView HDX — is now approved for Mooney M20C, M20D, M20E, and M20F aircraft.
iFly EFB adds wireless autopilot feature for experimental aircraft
The new feature allows pilots to connect their iFly EFB app to their aircraft’s autopilot system using a Bluetooth to serial device which facilitates communication between the mobile device and the aircraft’s autopilot, according to company officials.

The company also reports its Smart Rudder bias is also certified in the PA-31-350s equipped with the autopilot.
