The twin-engine Jabiru J432 has officially arrived in the United States following its successful debut at EAA AirVenture. Thanks to the expanded MOSAIC regulations, this four-seat airplane is finally available to American pilots as a factory-built Light Sport Aircraft or a homebuilt kit.

Johnsen sent in this photo, with a note: “A Cessna 182 catches the reflected green dot as it nears touchdown at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026. The Cessna was one of many aircraft that arrived Friday afternoon, July 17, when smoky skies cleared enough to permit VFR conditions at Oshkosh. AirVenture officially started Monday July 20 and runs through Sunday, July 26.”

Clifford, the son of the late John Hatz, passed away unexpectedly June 27, 2026. He was widely known throughout the antique aviation community for his exceptional craftsmanship restoring fabric-covered airplanes. More than that, he was a fixture at fly-ins, a generous friend, and someone genuinely loved by all who knew him.”
