Starting an impassioned conversation among a group of pilots isn’t too difficult. Just ask about a known controversial topic, toss it out into a group of pilots standing around, then just sit down and listen. One of my favorites to debate: What is the best knot to tie down your aircraft?

New aviation education center at KYNG secures final funding
The Western Reserve Port Authority has secured the final funding to launch an aviation education center at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport (KYNG).

KJPX finally correctly labeled on charts
After nearly three years, New York’s East Hampton Town Airport (JPX) has been correctly depicted as a public-use airport on the latest FAA aeronautical charts.
New grant to fund improvements at WA45

FTair has opened a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility at Pryor Field Regional Airport (KDCU) in Decatur, Alabama, designed to serve the needs of general aviation customers in North Alabama.
