Alissa Eggenfellner submitted this photo and note: “Viking Aircraft Engines’ Jan Eggenfellner with the Zenith CH 750 SD (3-seater) powered by the Viking 195T engine. Flown from Florida to the Zenith factory in Mexico, Missouri. The first SD built outside of Zenith themselves took the slow journey north at less than 100 mph next to a slightly faster car, the Porsche 911.”

Grimes Field features three aviation museums and two aircraft restoration facilities on or near the airport, in addition to the Airport Cafe, which serves what we consider to be the best pies in Ohio!”

She has PPONK, MTV-9 3 bladed prop, titanium gear, Sportsman STOL, flat extended baggage, Micro Aerodynamics vortex generators, Stene Quasar wig-wags, Selkirk interior throughout, Mountain Wave nets, 10-inch locking tailwheel. Lightweight, identifies as a helicopter. Criss-crossed the U.S. at least 25 times and the greatest joy are backcountry strips in the Pacific Northwest.”
