Smitty Smith, the force behind FunPlacesToFly.com, recently posted a video shot at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 that features warbirds, including a C-47, T-6, a Huey, P-51, B-24, B-25, B-29, A-26, Zero, BT-15 and an F4U. It’s an entertaining five minutes for warbird lovers.

“I had known about Oshkosh ever since learning to fly in 1985,” said airline pilot Dan Cook. “It was like a mythical land that was on my bucket list to visit, but I always had to work in July due to a low seniority number.” After attending the 2023 show with his family, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is definitely on his list to revisit — as well as the “fun flying” of general aviation.
