Audrey Poberezny honored at AirVenture
Before the EAA annual membership meeting kicked off here on Wednesday morning at AirVenture, Audrey Poberezny was awarded EAA’s Freedom of Flight Award. Audrey walked to the podium, where EAA Chairman Jack Pelton stood with the trophy. Members in the audience stood and cheered as Jack put his arms around the emotional Audrey.
Sea Breezy at Oshkosh… finally
This Sea Breezy, in homebuilt aircraft, took 14 fuel stops over three days from Missouri to Oshkosh. This bird is loaded with personality. In the words of the tower controllers, “Welcome to Oshkosh.”
