Premier Aircraft opens new flight school

By General Aviation News Staff · April 16, 2025 · Leave a Comment

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — Premier Aircraft, a Diamond Aircraft dealer, is opening Premier Aircraft Flight Training adjacent to its headquarters at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE).

“As the oldest Diamond dealer, we’ve had the chance to meet hundreds of Diamond aircraft owners, and repeatedly, they’ve asked us to suggest a good flight school to help them become familiar with their new airplane and its systems,” said Travis Peffer, CEO of Premier Aircraft. “Diamonds are known for being easy to fly, but still, there’s always that bit of apprehension that comes with any unfamiliar airplane.”

Along with providing familiarity training, the Premier Aircraft Flight Training will offer private through advanced instrument and commercial training programs, which, like the Diamond aircraft familiarity program, will be individually tailored to each student’s goals, he added.

Peffer said that now that Premier Aircraft Flight Training is open, the company’s next step is to add a Diamond DA42 for twin-engine training mid-year. The company is also in the process of opening another Premier Aircraft Flight School at its office in Fort Worth, Texas.
