Kara White of Hemlock Films has been nominated for a Best Director Emmy Award in the category of Short/Long Form — Post Produced.
She was nominated for the episode “Jump Pilot” for the online series Why I Fly.
The nomination is in the Central Great Lakes Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
White will compete with five other nominees: Mark Hamer’s “Once Upon a Time in Sports,” James Waters’ “MGM Northfield Park Sizzle Commercial,” Dan O’Shannon’s “The Golden Age of Kids’ TV: Cleveland,” Kevin Finch’s “Wes Bound: The Genius of Wes Montgomery,” and Elena Park’s “Shades of Light.”
The Great Lakes Emmy Awards will be held June 22, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio.
