The pilot, who was participating in a “flour bag drop” competition, reported that while he was flying about 50 to 100 feet above a closed runway in Brewton, Alabama, he “got too slow and stalled.”
He attempted to recover, however there was insufficient altitude, and the Cessna 150 hit the runway nose first.
The airplane sustained substantial damage to the engine mounts and firewall.
Probable Cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain adequate airspeed while maneuvering at low altitude, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall and impact with the ground.

I guess safety and prudent machine operation go out the window when we’re having fun. /J
Just right, Mr. James Brian Potter. My advise: have fun and above it, prudence.
