MAPLE GROVE, Minnesota – Flight Flix Aviation has released its new wired camera system named Rock Steady.

The system consists of a camera, control box, port, and wiring. Each camera controller can be wired to the cockpit for power, record trigger, live video, audio, and USB data download.

The system handles multiple cameras and can broadcast live to the cockpit on any navigation display. Hardwiring allows the camera to be activated with switches for easy on/off operation, according to company officials.

The camera is from Drift and has a 140° field of view. It shoots in 4K at 60 frames per second. With its rotating lens, the camera can be mounted at any angle, company officials add.

The Rock Steady Complete Combo starts at $679.99 for one camera. As it is a modular system, you can add as many cameras, controllers, and ports as you desire, Flight Flix officials said.

Learn more about the system at the Flight Flix website.
