More proof (as if we needed more) that flying is truly magical. This time via a DHC-2 de Havilland Beaver operating in British Columbia.
I love watching the pilot abandon the forklift after launching from the ramp…

Pure magic ! Thanks !
Had to put my earplugs really loud at work for my iphone microphone to pick up the music, took Shazam 10 times but I found it.. song is great:
Light House – Future Islands
Thanks for taking me places I have never been in an aircraft I love. (love the music – please post the name so I may download a copy.)
Light House – Future Islands 😉
Nice video, horrible song. Too much compression by speeding up the video which destroys the great scenery. Dispense with the background music and allow the actual sound of the engine and the water to come through some of the time. Flying is thrilling to be sure but not magical.
My second favorite flight of all time was in a Beaver in BC. Awesome plane! (Best flight was 45 minutes of aerobatics in a Citabria over a California beach.)
Beautiful. Who is the artist singing?
Light House – Future Islands 😉
It would have been even more beautiful if it hadn’t been sped up. Cut the music and let us here the music of that radial engine and the sound of the water some. Enjoyed it though. I was one of the lucky ones who made my living with my hobby(flying airplanes). The second greatest thrill known to man. 🙂

The band is Light House and the the album title Future Islands.
As a Pilot from French Polynesia I’d love to fly one of those beavers someday. Anyone would have tips on how to best do it. I have a valid current FAA PPL. Where should I start and head to live this amazing experience?
good times! oh yeah.
Amazing Video.
Defying gravity is a unique experience.
Great video. Lousy song.
