Spherical bearings now on Schweiss Doors

By Ben Sclair · December 25, 2012 ·

All new “Red Power” hydraulic doors from Schweiss Doors now come with spherical bearings (see image) at top and bottom attach points of each of the two cylinders.

The new bearings have long been used in tractor 3-point hitches, car suspensions, driveshafts and more. The bearings will allow for the door to operate with less friction, no binding, wear or damage to a door cylinder and take up any flexing of the door frame.

The spherical bearings replace the former conventional bearing at no additional cost over a similar door. Contact Schweiss Doors at 800-746-8273 for more information.
