Phillips 66 Aviation launches mobile app

By Janice Wood · January 25, 2012 ·

Phillips 66 Aviation, the largest branded dealer network in general aviation, has launched a WingPoints Rewards With Altitude mobile app, giving pilots access to their WingPoints accounts, along with an airport dealer locator.

The new app lets pilots find FBOs and check WingPoints Rewards balances on the fly using their iPad, iPhone and iTouch devices.

Map views of dealers are loaded with pins representing nearby FBOs. Dealer details and contact information is also available. Plus, WingPoints app users can “favorite” their preferred FBOs for quick reference.

“With the WingPoints app, you can easily find FBOs participating in the program,” says Rosemary Leone, Director, Programs Development, General Aviation for ConocoPhillips. “This app is designed to make it easy for WingPoints participants to register their cards and manage their accounts. Pilots were early adopters of iPad and iPhone applications because they are portable, convenient and functional sources of information. The WingPoints app just makes it easier get rewarded for using Phillips 66 Aviation fuel.”

Total WingPoints earned and the last 10 days of history are provided. A redemption reminder shows gifts available for current point levels. The app can also show all available gift cards in the program.

WingPoints accumulate immediately with each fuel purchase at qualifying Phillips 66 FBOs. Points can be redeemed online for debit cards or gift cards from a bevy of retailers.

The WingPoints app is available free at the iTunes store.
