Superior Air Parts promotes Lockridge

By Janice Wood · January 11, 2012 ·

Jeff Lochridge has been promoted to Group Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Superior Aviation Beijing, responsible for parts and component procurement for all subsidiary companies of Superior Aviation Beijing.

“Jeff has been overseeing the procurement for Superior Air Parts and has done an outstanding job in ramping up our vendors. He knows that to stay competitive in today’s aviation marketplace you have to be extremely smart and efficient in all phases of your business,” said Tim Archer, president. “In his expanded role, Jeff will be responsible for not only negotiating, purchasing and delivering parts and components for our piston engine production facilities in the U.S. and China, but also raw materials and components for our other Group companies including our helicopter and UAV manufacturing entities.”

Lochridge had been the Director of Procurement for Superior Air Parts, Inc., since 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from East Texas State University.

Superior Air Parts, a wholly owned subsidiary of Superior Aviation Beijing, is a leading manufacturer of FAA approved aftermarket replacement parts for Lycoming and Continental aircraft engines. In addition, the company manufacturers the FAA certified Vantage Engine and the XP-Series Engine family for experimental and sport aircraft builders. For more information: SuperiorAirParts.com
