Shell FBO network expands

By Janice Wood · January 11, 2012 ·

Former Exxon FBOs, Greenbrier Valley Airport and Summit Aviation, have joined the Shell FBO network. There are currently over 400 Shell branded FBOs in the United States.

By joining the Shell FBO Network, Greenbrier Valley Airport and Summit Aviation can take advantage of some of the many FBO programs offered through Eastern Aviation Fuels, company officials said.

Located in Lewisburg, W.Va., the Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB) boasts a full service FBO with services including on-site car rentals, short term hangar parking and aircraft detailing. Greenbrier Valley Airport is WiFi certified with access available in the pilot lounge and on-site cafe.

Summit Aviation (EVY) located in Middleton, Del., is a full service aviation center with domestic and international capabilities. In operation since 1960, Summit Aviation provides aircraft modification and maintenance. It is an approved service center for Bell, Cessna, Aviall, Allison, Garrett, and Pratt & Whitney.

Eastern Aviation Fuels was founded in 1975 and is the exclusive distributer of Shell-branded aviation fuels in the United States.
