The Aviation Club at Clover Park Technical College will host a charity auction, Auction for Angels, on December 9 (7-9 pm) in the hangar at the South Hill Campus of Clover Park Technical College (17214 110th Ave E, Puyallup WA 98374). Proceeds from the auction will the non-profit Angel Flight West.
Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. The network of 1,900 pilots throughout the 14 western states donate their aircraft, piloting skills, and all flying costs to help families in need, enabling them to receive vital treatment that might otherwise be inaccessible because of financial, medical, or geographic limitations.
The Aviation Club is an ASG Club at Clover Park Technical College. It was founded in March 2011 to help those pursuing aviation degrees in Aviation Maintenance, Professional Pilot, and Composite Technician programs to reach beyond the curriculum and get hands on experience and more involved in the aviation and surrounding community.
So join us on December 9th, 2011 at 7-9 pm in the hanger at the South Hill Campus of Clover Park located at 17214 110th Avenue East Puyallup, WA 98374 in helping these wonderful Angels of Mercy that help so many others. Also we are excepting donations of things for the auction so feel free to get rid of something that might be taken up space and could help get a sick child to where they need to go.
