Sheltair selected FBO of Choice for Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show

By Ben Sclair · October 26, 2011 ·

Sheltair, located at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, has been selected as the official FBO to the 52nd Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, being held October 27-31, 2011.” The boat show is the largest in the U.S.

“Every year differs in expected traffic throughout the show. Normally we get in anywhere between 45-60 arrivals per day including our regular transient business,” noted Jennifer Colon, Director of Marketing for Sheltair. “Our ramp space allows for even more. The airport also provides our facility with extra ramp parking for the event.”

Sebring, Florida-based Lockwood Aviation‘s Phil Lockwood confirmed, “the Ft. Lauderdale show is the show to be at if you are into boats. As a matter of fact, I’m trying to find time to go over this weekend.”

Sheltair is just 10 minutes away, and is the closest airport to the boat show and offers 24-hour service, on-site U.S. Customs, superior ground support, ample ramp parking, premium customer service and hangar/office leasing options.
