Stager joins Flightcom

By Janice Wood · July 11, 2011 ·

Flightcom has appointed Reed Stager executive vice president. Stager, who has nearly three decades of experience in high-technology marketing, business development, and strategic planning, is tasked with expanding Flightcom’s products, including its wired and wireless aviation headsets, intercoms and accessories to other communication needs in the aviation and military markets.

“Hundreds of thousands of pilots and military personnel depend every day on our Flightcom communication headsets and systems for clear communications,” Stager said. “I am excited to be joining the Flightcom team as we continue to focus on supporting our customers’ evolving needs and introduce our wireless solutions to the numerous other aviation and military applications that can benefit from effective and reliable hands-free communication in noisy or challenging environments.”

Stager held executive and management roles at Digimarc, MERANT, Inc., In Focus Systems, Tektronix and Mentor Graphics. He most recently served as CEO of Pinnacle Licensing Group, a technology licensing company based in San Francisco. He holds a master’s in business administration from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in business from Lewis and Clark College.
