ASA updates ATP oral exam guide

By Ben Sclair · March 27, 2011 ·

ASA’s Airline Transport Pilot Oral Exam Guide ($12.95 list price) by Michael Hayes has been updated to reflect the latest regulations and procedures, including the proposed new regulations dealing with crew fatigue (Part 117).

This quick-reference, question-and-answer study guide will help applicants prepare for the ATP checkride by listing the most frequently asked questions by FAA examiners during the oral portion of the Practical Test, supported with succinct responses.

The Airline Transport Pilot Oral Exam Guide includes chapters dedicated to turbine aircraft theory, performance and limitations, airline operational procedures, aeronautical decision making (ADM) and crew resource management (CRM), regulations, and instrument procedures. Two appendices are included that contain questions and answers specifically concerning aircraft systems and limitations. Soft cover, 5-1/4″ x 8-1/4″, 240 pages.
