Hartzell Propeller has developed the ‘S-1’ series propeller governors specifically for engines on Van’s RV aircraft. The following engines can mount the new governor (in most instances):
- O-320-D1A, O-360-A1A, IO-360-A1B6 and IO-360-M1B (4-cylinder) will use the S-1-10;
- O-540-A4D5 (6-cylinder) will use the S-1-26; and
- IO-540-D4A5 will need the S-1-32.
Most models are available for immediate delivery and are priced at $1,200.
