The New York Times spotlights Floyd Bennett Field, located “at the end of Flatbush Avenue where the eastern fringe of Brooklyn meets Jamaica Bay”. Included in the feature posted July 9 is a five-plus minute video showcasing all the park (“Decommissioned in the early 1970s, the airfield became part of the Jamaica Bay Unit of the National Park Service’s Gateway National Recreation Area.”).
