What STCs are available for my engine?

By Paul McBride · October 20, 2006 ·

Can you give me an idea of what STCs are available to convert an O-320-E3D from 150 to 160 hp?

David Austin

Ponder, Texas

David, I suggest you go to the following website to do your research: Airweb.FAA.gov/STC.

Once there you’ll be offered several options to locate the information you’re looking for.

When looking for information on Lycoming engines, don’t forget to search under Textron Lycoming as well as Lycoming.

A good place to start is to click on “”By Make”” under Search. Then just click on the STC number and you’ll get information on the STC holder, as well as an address. The only telephone number listed is for the FAA certification office that was responsible for the STC. A full text of the STC also is available.

I hope this will provide you with the information you’re looking for and I’m certain it will be used by other readers who are seeking the same type of data.
