Volunteer pilots will be flying to Eleuthera in the Bahamas this month to complete the final stages of a home for abused children. The semi-annual Fly In & Help Out Event, to be held on Thursday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 19, serves as an introduction to international mission flying and provides hands on experience with ongoing projects in The Bahamas, according to officials with Bahamas Habitat, which is sponsoring the event.

Flight4Lives: Couple fly from Cape Cod to Cape Horn to raise awareness of organ donation
Just a few years ago, Chris McLaughlin wasn’t sure whether he was going to live or not. Just a few weeks ago, he and his wife, Corrine, launched on an epic journey, flying from Cape Cod to Cape Horn in their Cessna Skyhawk.
The flight, dubbed Flight4Lives, is designed to raise awareness of about organ transplants.
