First solos for VA students
SEATTLE — The folks in the flight training department at Galvin Flying Services, an FBO and authorized flight training provider for Veteran’s Administration (VA) students at Boeing Field, report that the first VA students enrolled in a program offered through Green River Community College (GRCC) have made their first solos.

Signal Aviation now Granite Air Center
Signal Aviation Services, the primary general aviation service provider for the Lebanon Municipal Airport (LEB) in New Hampshire, has been purchased by long-time employees, Greg Soho and Jason Archambeault. Soho has been the company’s vice president since 1999 and Archambeault has served as director of maintenance since 2007. The FBO has a new name, Granite Air Center.
