Instructors will be on hand to answer questions about the Sport Pilot certificate as well.
Among those scheduled to be there are Hank Hengst (hang glider), Dominion Air Services (Jabiru), Michael O’Daniel (powered paraglider), Lionel Reynolds (powered parachute), Terri Sipantzi (trike), Daniel Wroe (Challenger ELSA), Shenandoah Valley Soaring, Valley R.C. Club, Blue Ridge Community College Light Sport Repairman Maintenance program (one of only two in the U.S.), Shenandoah Avionics, Fly the Valley, LLC, Charlottesville Flight Center (Evektor), and many others that will be displaying and flying their aircraft.
For the kids a special aviation learning section will be set up and Young Eagles free flights will be provided for youth ages 8-17. The evening will be capped off with a hot air balloon by Balloons Unlimited of northern Virginia.
Parking is available for those choosing to drive. Aircraft of any type are welcome to fly in.
