All is not gloomy news in general aviation. Kestrel Aircraft Co., based in Brunswick, Maine, and Superior, Wis., led by aviation entrepreneur, and Cirrus Aircraft founder Alan Klapmeier, will host a Job Fair this week in Wichita.
Following an informational session Tuesday from 6-7 p.m., open Recruiting will be held Wednesday, May 16, and Thursday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn – Wichita East, 549 S Rock Road (SW Corner of Rock & Kellogg).

Kestrel Aircraft Co. is a new airplane company led by general aviation entrepreneur Alan Klapmeier. Based on the original work done by Farnborough Aircraft, the Kestrel airplane will be six to eight seat, all composite, single-engine turboprop, boasting a broad performance envelope, and able to land on short strips and grass runways, according to company officials.
