Piper Aircraft’s new entry-level aircraft in the Light Sport Aviation segment, the PiperSport, cruises at almost 140 miles per hour and flies to 10,000 feet for a purchase price less than $120,000. The PiperSport can carry a total of 600 pounds (passengers and cargo) for 600 nautical miles without refuelling, and it does it all on automotive gas, making it possible to refuel virtually anywhere in the world that offers either 100 Low Lead or premium, unleaded automotive fuel.
